Evenin' All

So.... I sit here waiting for Taradise to get ready on yet another night out :P Havin' a few... Going to see Choxx Burlington as a full band at Hunter's this evening.... Should be a rockin' good time :) Tomorrow night Chamberlane's going to be playing there as well...Should be quite packed I'd say... On PEI Locals today I found a clip about the boys... I'll post it on here for y'alls interest. Pretty cool shite...

"It's Chamberlane's (supposed) last show on Friday, at Hunter's. Bar owner and entertainment booker Steve Barber writes, "Bands such as Curfew, Haywire etc. set the mold for guys like Brady, Craig, Jonathan, Brett and Malcolm to do what they love here in our province. From Melons, to Myron's, and now Hunter's Chamberlane have collectively bolstered the spirit of true rock in Prince Edward Island by givng it their all at EVERY show they perform. True msuicians don't give a fuck about the $$$ they are making for a show and these hairy bastards have performed at the highest tempo and electricity possible whether they were earning $5 or $500.In going on tour across the east, or by purchasing the "banger" bus, rolling with Kingo guy and in supporting the local rock scene at EVERY rock show in the city - Chamberlane may not be pioneers yet they definetely have been acting as sherpa's for PEI's rockers. From the outside of the music scene looking in I can honestly say that the boys have raised the bar for this genre of music. Im glad to have booked this band numerous times in different venues, I am glad they have carried our rock music scene, and I am glad I can call them friends. I can only hope that they continue to persue their careers in this industry be it as Chamberlane or whatever avenue they follow as a group or as individuals. In closing I would like to remind everyone of October 31st 2004, Chamberlane double headlined Myron's in what turned out to be the LARGEST crowd Myron's had seen in their final 5 years. This was a veritable zoo like crowd that was amazed first by a full set of Chamberlane Originals. What got me the most is how 75% of the crowd knew the words to songs that these guys had written and were screaming in sync with band. Until this time Myron;'s had not been akin to allowing original Rock acts grace the Saturday Night stage. The second set was a Tribute to GN'R they dubbed "Coma" whihc is the final song on Use Your Illusion I. Not only did the boys do it up visually they added female back up whioch showed they were out to impress, not to rake in the dough. Never in my years in the bar scene has Myron's had so many people jammed into the Cabaret. Not for Sam Roberts, not for AOF not for any...Thanks for the memories boys, lets fuck things up Friday." "
