Rain rain go away....

I think that mother nature has a bone to pick with me. Apparently because I have decided to take some vacation time, she plans to rain the whole bloody time. Wahoo. I love rain. It's fanfuckingtastic. Anyhoo... I suppose I'll make the best of it, but the sun would be a lovely sight. So it's April now. I managed to surpass another April fools day. YAY!! I'm all about dishing out the practical jokes but... and I will admit this... am not that good at taking it. My brother, growing up, used to thrive on it. In fact, I'd bet that April 1st was his favorite day of the year. And it never failed that he would get me every time. My mother actually had to put a ban on April fools in our house hold. I was happy about this. My brother, not so happy. In fact I think he enjoyed my torture a little too much. Sick bastard.

10 Things to ponder....

Number 10 - Life is sexually transmitted.
Number 9 - Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.
Number 8 - Men have two emotions: Hungry and Horny. If you see him without an erection, make him a sandwich.
Number 7 - Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.
Number 6 - Some people are like a Slinky..... not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs.
Number 5 - Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Number 4 - All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.
Number 3 - Why does a slight tax increase cost you two hundred dollars and a substantial tax cut saves you thirty cents?
Number 2 - In the 60s, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.
Number 1 -We know exactly where one cow with mad-cow-disease is located among the millions and millions of cows in America, but we haven't got a clue as to where thousands of illegal immigrants and terrorists are located. Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration.

And then there's Mr. Depp.....

Ahh.... Colin Farrell....

The Emerald Fairy

The Luna Sprite

The Stargazer

Chitter Chatter

So.... It's funny how certian songs can trigger a memory. Kinda like the soundtrack to your brain. Right now I'm listening to Johnny Cash's version of NIN's Hurt. Holy heartstrings batman. This song doesn't really bring me to any specific moment, although the thoughts of the original bring me back a few years.
One thing that I'm totally jazzed about now is that The Girls and I are going to see INXS at the beginning of May in Moncton. Holy fucking crap I can't wait!!! There are hopes that there's going to be a big show this summer too, like last year for the Stones. Went to that show.... what can I say. Rolling Fucking Stones. Rocked. Nuff said.
Time to post some more pics... fun fun !!

The Rose by Salvador Dali

Swans Reflecting Elephants, 1937 by Salvador Dali

It's a beautiful day outside, times passing me by...

Today being the first day of Spring made me realize that this year is flying by and also makes me think of The Gandharvas... It's hard to believe that it's the end of March all ready. Well, we all do have summer just around the corner to look forward to :) St Patty's day this year was fun... Although the day turned quickly into the weekend. The girls and I went to Hunter's for Trivia last night to end the weekend with, go figure, some more beers. Had a good time though. Apparently they have Entertainment trivia there as well... we figure we'll clean up with that one. Especially with Tara, the celebrity guru, on our team :) Till next time.... cheers!

Batman Rules

A little dry on a rainy Sunday

A little hung over today, but had a good time last night. Went and saw the boys (Chamberlane) play at Myrons. Came in a little late but it was a pretty good turnout. Everyone rocked out. Good times :) Today I'm pretty parched though... can't seem to drink enough water. The after party went till about 6, or so I'm told... I ended up crashing out around 5 or so. The ol' brain shut 'er down. Apparently it can only take so much abuse before it says fuck you.... party over. Ahh well... C'est la vie.

It's March and I'm dying of heat

The heat in my apartment is fucked. It's March, in Canada, and it's 27 C in here. This is ridiculous. I think my cat has melted to the floor. Argh... Note to self: call the landlord tomorrow.
Downloaded tonnes of new tunes tonight. Amongst my favorites: some old school g'n'r, Zeppelin, Lou Reed and Marvin Gay. Quite the eclectic mix. But I like it. :) Makes me happy. Yay for that.
I have a new obsession. This happy little show called Dead Like Me. It's morbidly halarious and I can't get enough. We have the whole first season now and have been watching the episodes all this week. Lovin it. If anyone gets the chance, I reccommend it. Kinda interesting concept of them being Grimm Reapers, but with humor. Just watch it and you'll understand. Either way, we're totally hooked.
I'm going to make the attempt to post pics on my blog too. Seeing as I know shit about how to do that, it's probably to create quite the challenge for me. Then again, I thought making a blog was going to be confusing as hell. Go figure. Pretty much walks you through it. So... If you see pics posted it's easy.... and if not... well I'm sure you can figure it out :)
